Rebecca Romano, vice president and head of talent development for NBCUniversal, leads NBCUniversal’s global corporate university — the Talent Lab. She is also responsible for the design and implementation of enterprise-wide talent development and engagement practices across NBCUniversal’s portfolio businesses, including performance management, employee surveys, talent review and onboarding, in addition to NBCUniversal’s early career media pipeline program, the Page Program.
Prior to joining NBCUniversal, Romano held a number of leadership development and talent integration roles. Most recently, she served as the learning and leadership development executive for Merrill Lynch U.S. Wealth Management, responsible for the talent strategy, leadership assessment centers and cross-business development programs. Romano also headed organization effectiveness for Guardian Life Insurance Co. of America, and started her career with Personnel Decisions International in executive selection, assessment and coaching.
Romano holds a Ph.D. in industrial/organizational psychology from the Illinois Institute of Technology in Chicago and a B.A. from Ohio University.
